'Emo' & sad moments
Recently, lao-di's blog entries are kinda emo & thot-inspiring... But i've personally thot of those issues before... & i'm glad i'm not alone... as in ya, some1 else shares my thots too... The meaning of Life... What haf one done to leave a trace of existence, haf accomplished somethin or to etch oneself in someone else's lives...
To lao-di: "Hey! I'll rem u lah.. siao... u noe we will. U may not noe hw impt u're as a fren to me but u are. But i muz say this too > choy!" =P
Last wk, i heard news tat a fren's dad was diagnosed wif a terminal illness. She's very upset & from her msn.nicks > "Why muz it happen to us?" to "No longer lookin forward to the future", itz so depressing... I wanted to console her but i couldn't find da right words to say. When ppl are unhappie, u use a common phrase: "No worries, it's ok, everything will be fine".
Is everything really gonna becum ok? Sometimes, u noe it may or may not be ok but u jus wanna gif encouragement rite? *sigh* Miracle, miracle... people are waiting for u to come.
This reminds me of an ex-collic who lost da battle to a terminal illness. He was a true-blue bachelor, everythin's perfect abt him. Even thou he lost, he was a brave warrior coz he put up a good fight. He's still missed by a lot of us, coz he's a capable person deserving the respect of his subordinates & fellow collics. A yr has passed. Time jus continues to sprint ahead while people are left behind wif the memories... to cope wif what've happened & to move on...
The Man of the House
My dad's pretty much a happy-go-lucky person, tat sometimes his 'carefree' remarks pisses me big time. Eg. After i told him "No, canot eat anymore, u muz watch ur diet". He'll be a spoilt kid & continues to gobble da cholestrol-high prawns sayin "Aiya! Nvm la, if haf to die means will die lah" I'll emit fiery looks & chided him for talkin such irresponsible nonsense...
I really hope my naggy words get into his mind.. He seems to forget he's no longer a young chap. I'm lik a nanny to my parents! **OMG** Ok fair enuf, they raised me up well so i can learn to take care of them bk. Yup. Tatz da law of nature & filial piety i guess~ Happy Father's Day!! to my young-at-heart Dad & ur Papas!!

I finally watched tis film & no wonder itz a box office hit then. i quite lik it, thou itz a simple luv story bt needless to say, a touchin & heartmoving one. + da little boy is cute! It sort of links to my 1st paragraph in tis entry: "to leave a trace of existence". i really admire da lead lady in da story for her courage 2pursue happiness. Would u go ahead to do somethin knowin tat tis will eventually lead to ur early demise? There's a clever twist towards da end & things are more than wat it seems to be. Go rent/buy it. **2thumbs-up**
